This is especially significant because the company recorded a C rating in 2023 and a B in 2024 before reaching Leadership A in 2025, dramatically improving its environmental management performance over three consecutive years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CDP, founded in the United Kingdom in 2000, is a nonprofit international organization that asks major companies worldwide to disclose management information on environmental issues such as climate change and forests, then analyzes the disclosures to assess each company\u2019s response and transparency. Along with the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), the CDP assessment is a highly credible global ESG indicator for judging a company\u2019s environmental management standards and capabilities. Ratings are divided into eight levels: Leadership (A\/A-), Management (B\/B-), Awareness (C\/C-), and Disclosure (D\/D-).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Changshin received high scores in recognition of its sustained climate efforts, including \u25b2 accelerating the transition to renewable energy at each of its sites, \u25b2 strengthening its system for managing climate change risks and opportunities, \u25b2 signing on to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), \u25b2 and expanding the calculation and third-party verification of Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions (direct, indirect, and supply chain emissions).
