Social Contribution Activities
Changshin has signed the Busan Rising Athletes Support agreement with the Lotte Giants to help future sports talent grow. Through the "One Stolen Base = One Pair" donation campaign, For every stolen base recorded by Lotte Giants players during the season, Changshin donates a pair of running shoes it has developed and produced to promising young local athletes. Changshin is working with the local community to support young people as they pursue their dreams and potential through sports.
Since 2020, Changshin has run the Craftsmanship Training Program in partnership with specialized vocational high schools in the Busan area to identify talented students and connecting them to employment. Practice-centered training in which current employees participate strengthens students' job skills and workplace readiness, and to date, 39 graduates have joined and now work at Changshin. The Company supports youth job creation and young people's stable entry into society, while building a foundation for sustainable growth together with the local community.
Since 2019, Changshin has been reaching out to neighbors in need through fundraising that employees participate in together. Funds raised from the voluntary participation of employees support children with pediatric cancer, the Miral Welfare Foundation, and others. In addition, employees make Hickman pouches* by hand and donate them to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation to support the treatment of children with blood cancer. Changshin carries on the value of warm-hearted giving, grounded in its people's voluntary participation.
*Hickman pouch: an accessory that helps protect the central venous catheter (Hickman catheter) used by pediatric cancer patients undergoing long-term chemotherapy from external contamination and infection risk, and keeps it hygienically maintained
Since 2001, Changshin Vietnam has run a free cataract surgery program for employees, their families, and local residents. The program was launched to provide medical care to those who find it difficult to receive timely treatment because of factors such as intense ultraviolet exposure and financial burden. It has supported surgery for about 30 people each year, and about 530 patients have recovered their sight so far. Changshin will continue to listen to local communities' needs and carry on activities that make a tangible difference in people's lives.
Since 2002, Changshin Vietnam has carried on the Homes of Love program to provide safe homes for employees, their families, and local residents whose housing is unstable due to storms, floods, and economic hardship. In Vietnam, where typhoons and other natural disasters frequently damage homes, a stable place to live is an important foundation that sustains daily life. Over the past 23 years, Changshin Vietnam has provided about 200 Homes of Love, supporting stable lives and continuing its warm companionship with the local community.
Since 2019, Changshin Indonesia has carried out the Trees of Hope program to protect forests and support the sustainable growth of local communities. To date, it has donated about 5,700 saplings to help prevent natural disasters such as landslides and river flooding and protect the environment. In 2025 in particular, the company has gone beyond environmental protection to support the stable economic activities of local residents by providing coffee saplings. Changshin Indonesia plans to continue activities that help the environment and local communities grow together.
