Changshin strictly complies with customer compliance requirements
and the environmental laws of each country, and pursues activities
to minimize the environmental impact that may arise throughout its business.
Changshin analyzes and prevents environmental risks in advance,
uses resources efficiently through process and equipment improvements,
and continues to expand its adoption of renewable energy, going beyond compliance
with environmental regulations to build a healthy industrial ecosystem that coexists with nature
Climate Action
Changshin recognizes climate action as a core management priority and is accelerating its transition to renewable energy to achieve its carbon neutrality goals. Changshin is achieving greenhouse gas reductions by expanding solar power generation facilities and securing renewable energy certificates, and aims to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2035 in cooperation with its customers.
Changshin aims to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2035.
Renewable energy transition rate (%)
Changshin has participated in CDP Climate Change since 2022, and discloses its greenhouse gas emissions, reduction activities, and climate risk management status annually. In 2025, Changshin achieved an A score in the CDP Climate Change category, earning recognition for global-standard climate response capabilities.
Resource Circulation
Changshin continues to improve its facilities and apply data-based management to reduce waste generated throughout its processes. Changshin sorts generated waste in house to raise reuse and recycling rates and handles it properly through licensed treatment contractors in accordance with the zero-landfill, zero-incineration principle.

Substance Management
Changshin operates its own wastewater treatment plant and in-house laboratory, continuously monitors effluent quality, and strictly complies with the environmental laws of each country in which it operates. By complying with the RSL and Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL), Changshin prevents hazardous chemical discharge and conducts ZDHC wastewater testing twice a year to regularly verify whether hazardous substances are being discharged. In addition, Changshin is improving water-use efficiency by increasing its water reuse rate.

Positive Water Impact
The Positive Water Impact (PWI) project in Indonesia is an initiative in which customers,
factory partners, and local communities work together to conserve water resources and restore ecosystems.
Through partnerships across the supply chain, Changshin has planted more than 7,500 trees,
contributed to ecosystem restoration, and runs programs to strengthen the self-reliance of local residents.
